Graham, the founder of the company, started his working life as a butcher, working for a butcher who produced all typed of foods including sausage, pressed meats and of course Pork Scratchings.
Eventually he took over the shop and continued to butcher producing pork scratchings at a cook room at the back of the shop. In the late 1970's he came second in a Pork Scratching competition, the winner was a customer who bought his scratchings from Graham and packed them in his own name...
